PHARMACY SERVICE PRESENTATIVE - Chicago, IL

Soleo Health is looking for a Pharmacy Service Representative (PSR) for our Chicago metro area location to support our new lines of specialty pharmacy.  

The PSR works directly under the supervision of a pharmacist to coordinate deliveries, input prescriptions and supplies, and  functions as a liaison with physicians to obtain orders and labs.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pharmacist assistance - Assist pharmacist with patient delivery coordination, prescription entry and completion, obtaining outcomes assessments for review, and equipment management. 
  • Report generation - Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports as well as keep pharmacy logs up to date as necessary.
  • Track and log labs daily, answer phones, monitor incoming faxes, monitor and upkeep of the T-drive. 
  • Order Management - Send orders to physicians for signature.  
  • Document Management - Scan in daily documents and make sure delivery tickets are scanned into a document management system.
  • Warehouse function - Assist in the warehouse to get orders picked, packed and shipped in a timely manner. 
  • Unloading Boxes - meeting delivery trucks, unloading boxes and transporting them for safe storage.  This may include quality control checks to ensure that products meet specifications, and checking incoming items against invoices to ensure the proper product has been delivered.
  • Maintaining Records - Maintain records of items received and shipped. This includes accurately recording serial numbers, the name of the manufacturer and the time and date the shipment was received.
  • Filing Orders - Communicate with clerks to pull and fill orders from pharmacies and hospitals.
  • Use of Equipment - Safely and efficiently operating equipment such as forklifts, hand tools and labeling machines. They also may be asked to use a computer for record-keeping and to use cleaning equipment to keep the facility tidy.

QUALFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma. Some college credits preferred.
  • Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or as required by the BOP
  • Minimum experience working as a technician in a retail setting.  
  • Prior technician experience with a specialty pharmacy company preferred
  • Current registration and ACPE requirements are met.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required. 
  • Ability to remain standing during shift.
