Soleo Health is seeking a Senior Accountant in our Nashua, NH office, who will be responsible for all activities related to recording and analyzing financial transactions in support of the month-end close process in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The candidate must be able to create a team atmosphere of continuous improvement to exceed the expected results.

We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter with time management skills to handle multiple deadlines. To be successful the candidate needs complete working knowledge of the entire accounting close process, willing to manage large volumes of journal entries and account reconciliations, and good technical ability with Excel and accounting systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements - monthly, quarterly and annual
  • Review and analyze monthly income statement and balance sheet for parent and subsidiary companies
  • Responsible for supporting branch P&L results, including revenue accounting, inventory review and analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the department
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions for processes
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounting position, preferably with a mid-size company with multiple locations
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with intercompany transactions
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite accounting system a plus
