Soleo Health Donates Bicycles To Charities

Three Non-Profit Organizations Are the Recipients of Nine Bikes Built during Soleo Health’s 2015 National Sales Meeting

SHARON HILL, Pa., March 16, 2015 – Soleo Health, “Soleo,” an innovative leader in specialty infusion, is donating nine bicycles with helmets to three non-profit organizations whose missions are to serve patients and caregivers affected by chronic or complex conditions. The bicycles were assembled by Soleo associates, including sales, clinical and operations leadership teams from around the country during a team building exercise at Soleo Health’s 2015 National Sales Meeting.

As a healthcare provider dedicated to improving patients’ experience and health, incorporating an activity into its internal meeting that benefits the patient communities it serves was paramount to Soleo leadership. “Our goal was to provide a forum that encouraged teamwork and collaboration. The bike building exercise did just that, and far exceeded expectations. It was the ultimate result, knowing the fruits of our labor would be donated to partnering organizations, that fueled an energetic and spirited session,” said Craig Vollmer, President and Chief Operating Officer of Soleo Health.

The organizations who will each receive three bicycles of varying color and style are the GBS-CIDP Foundation, the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), and the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF). Of the donation, John Boyle, IDF’s Director of Development remarked, “This thoughtful donation of bicycles emphasizes the importance of keeping active and maintaining good health, an essential message for our patient community. We are grateful for our relationship with Soleo Health and all of the ways they work to move our community forward.” The Immune Deficiency Foundation will use the bikes as part of its upcoming THINK ZEBRA! Silent Auction at the IDF 2015 National Conference in June.
