Notify your Soleo Care Team of travel plans for planning assistance and successful travel with medications
Let your prescriber know your travel destination and duration
Obtain an updated travel letter and prescription from your prescriber stating you are traveling with medications, needles and syringes
Check with your health insurance plan for coverage before traveling out of state or out of the country, as you may need a supplemental policy
Plan ahead to ensure you have medication and supplies available at your destination, if needed
Use the travel letter to introduce yourself to a medical facility during travel (emergency department, hospital)

While traveling, always carry the following:

- TSA Assistance: TSA Cares is a helpline that provides travelers with disabilities, medical conditions and other special circumstances additional assistance during the security screening process. Call 72 hours prior at (855) 787-2227 on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET and weekends/holidays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

Prescription labeled for identification
Sharps container for disposal of used supplies
Medication log
Cooler and ice packs for product temperature control, if appropriate
Always wear your personalized medical ID tag
