Soleo Health has specialty pharmacies nationwide that can provide services at your home or one of our infusion centers.
Soleo Health will contact you. We’ll clarify what your insurance will cover and what costs you may need to pay out of pocket. You will learn how the medicine is given and what to expect. We will schedule a treatment time and day that works best for you, including evenings or weekends, if necessary. You can receive treatment at one of our infusion suites or in the comfort of your own home.

Occasionally, generic drugs must be substituted for brand-name drugs. This could occur because your insurance company prefers the generic to be dispensed or to reduce your copay. If a substitution needs to be made, a Soleo Health Pharmacy team member will contact you before shipping the medication to inform you of the substitution.
Call 911 or have someone drive you to a hospital emergency room if the reaction appears serious or life-threatening. Contact Soleo Health or your provider who prescribed the medicine to report the reaction.
Yes. Follow your prescriber’s instructions for the amount of medication and the length of time you should take it. We understand that some medications may have unpleasant side effects or be challenging to administer. Our pharmacists offer practical advice about dealing with these issues and can help you contact your prescriber about the medical management of these side effects.
An infusion suite or center is a staffed location where infusions are provided by a registered nurse who will monitor your treatment via intravenous or subcutaneous medication. Home infusion is the same, but therapy is provided in your home.
If appropriate, caregivers and patients are taught how to self-administer the medications. Intravenous antibiotics, subcutaneous immunoglobulin therapy, and Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) are some examples of infusion therapies that may be self-administered after appropriate teaching.
1. Review your medication and supplies to check that you have the items that will be used. 2. Follow instructions from Soleo Health staff to prepare for your appointment, such as drinking plenty of fluids, taking medication from the refrigerator, and more. 3. Secure pets for safety and concern for Soleo Health staff entering your home or delivering medications.

Soleo Health has agreements with most insurance companies to dispense and provide treatment. Occasionally, your insurance company will require the use of another pharmacy. In these instances, we will transfer your prescription and have the new pharmacy contact you.
